Are you kidding me...Nancy Pelosi says that unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs. What has she been smoking? Her logic is that the unemployed will get a check and go out and spend it on "stuff" and that will create jobs. I think most of those that get these checks are spending it on rent, food, utilities, car and credit card payments. I would bet they don't have much left over for discretionary spending.
